Lillie Mozaffari, M.S., P.E.
Owner / President
Ms. Mozaffari founded Matrix Energy Services in 2006 in response to a growing demand for energy efficiency solutions. Beginning with a focus in California, she quickly expanded the business to include utility companies across the nation.
Ms. Mozaffari has over 30 years of professional experience with a career in building design, building code research & compliance and inspection. Her technical qualifications are in architectural and structural engineering, developing and applying building energy efficiency and structural codes, and she has an established record of accomplishment for technical and management performance. Her expertise and continued dedication to the energy industry has enabled Matrix in delivering solutions to thousands of utility customers. Her current focus is on designing and implementing emerging energy- efficient technology.
Prior to founding Matrix Energy Services, Ms. Mozaffari managed the Commercial Plan Review section of Sacramento County’s Building Inspection Division where she performed plan review and inspections of commercial buildings for structural and energy code compliance. Previous to that she was a staff engineer at Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, involved in analysis and design of several high-rise buildings in San Francisco.
Ms. Mozaffari received two degrees (B.S. and M.S.) in Architectural Engineering from Oklahoma State University, and her M.S. degree in Structural Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. She is a Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of California.
